The Cancer Council WA provides two self-catering accommodation lodges in Perth, offering a welcoming home away from home for regional cancer patients and their carers while they attend treatment and cancer-related appointments in the metropolitan area.

Our Rotary club sponsors Room 302 at Milroy Lodge.
Supporting Regional Cancer Patients Through Milroy Lodge

The lodges provide comfortable, clean, and secure motel-style accommodation, along with access to on-site support services. A dedicated Cancer Support Coordinator is available to assist guests and their families by providing practical, emotional, and social support throughout their cancer journey. The Rotary Club of Western Endeavour proudly sponsors Room 302 at Milroy Lodge, helping to ensure affordable accommodation remains available for those travelling long distances to access treatment.

Located in Shenton Park, Milroy Lodge is surrounded by peaceful natural bushland and is within easy walking distance of public transport. The lodge features 24 single units, three double units, and two twin units. Priority is given to regional patients travelling alone, although carers can also be accommodated when required.

Raising Funds Through Perth Motorplex

A significant part of our support for Cancer Council WA is made possible through our partnership with Perth Motorplex.

Throughout the racing season, our members attend selected Motorplex events to collect donations from spectators. Funds raised directly support the important work of Cancer Council WA and help maintain services such as accommodation and support for regional cancer patients.

If you attend a Perth Motorplex event, you'll likely see our Rotarians in their club shirts, volunteering with donation tins and electronic payment facilities. We are grateful for the generosity of race fans whose contributions help make a real difference to families facing cancer.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide practical support and comfort to those undergoing cancer treatment away from home.
