DIRECTIONS & WHERE TO MEET
Our address is Perth Children's Hospital, 15 Hospital Avenue, Nedlands, Western Australia, 6009. (See atached map)
 
Parking is available in the multi-level carpark off Winthrop Drive or the underground carpark off Hospital Avenue. Parking can be limited, so please allow some time and we do encourage taking a taxi/rideshare or public transport where possible (the purple CAT runs from the CBD to the QEII Campus if that is practical for you).
 
You will find our concierge desk located just inside the Northern Entrance to the Children’s Hospital (at the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ end). If everyone could please report to the Concierge desk upon arrival, I will meet you there.
 
ITINERARY

  • 10:00am | Arrival & Registration
  • Welcome 
  • Visit the Bridge and Laboratory area: We will then take you upstairs to the Bridge on Level 6 for some more background information and walk past a one of our laboratories before settling for our Researcher Meet and Talk session. 
  • Researcher Meet and Talk: We have arranged for the following two lovely colleagues who will talk about their research, achievements and work being undertaken. Light refreshments, including team coffee and biscuits, will be served. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussions.
    • Jacob Byrne, Brain Tumour Research.
    • Rebecca Watkinson, Foundations of Lung Disease.
  • Approx. 11:30am | Conclusion of Visit.
